- This chariot scooter has 4 wheels, a regular steering column, and brake levers. It looks like the $5,000 Segway scooter and much easier to learn to drive. It is much harder to fell off unless you are going at 10 MPH and hitting a bump. It is much easier to learn to drive without the need of leaning your body backward, forward, and twisting the left handle for turning. However, leaning you body can help the electric chariot to turn sharper.
It just has a higher center of gravity so that is why it has to max. out the speed at 10 MPH. The chariot is much better for maneuvering around people and obstructions at low speed. It is almost like a electric wheelchair. Therefore, it is suitable for the pedestrian sidewalks, warehouses, convention centers, and sight seeing.
Most of the parts are universal parts available anywhere. The batteries are the same sizes as those used on USB power backup. Better yet, it has the headlight, horn and turning signals that the Segway don't have.
